Sally Hanson Cuticle Cream
This smelled intensely of “apricot” but to me, it’s like that traditional beauty parlor salon mixed with the air of Sally beauty. I always say I’m “sensitive to fragrance” and really what that means is if I don’t like the smell of something, that’s all I notice and it makes me not want to use it. It’s not a bad smell but I just don’t want that on my hands all day.
The texture of this is really interesting though. It’s like whipped body butter. The dry down is nice as well, it sinks in really nicely. Your fingers aren’t left greasy which is great!
The performance was also good. My cuticles were left feeling hydrated and any start of cracks were taken care of.
I just couldn’t get over the scent so for that reason, I’m returning this. I got it on sale for $3.71 but it’s originally $6.49 for 11.3 grams or .4 ounces of product. I would rather rebuy the Burt’s bees cuticle cream which is $5.82 for 17 grams or .6 ounces. And the Burt’s bees one comes in a tin so it’s easier to reuse or recycle.
Update:
I bought this from Walmart and I thought it would be easy to return using their drive up service. I was very wrong. It took 45 minutes for them to return this $3.71 item. It really wasn’t even worth the hassle. The people who work the drive up service are idiots and I used to work there so I would know. I was in a bad mood so I wrote a bad review. I don’t think anything came of it.
