Review: Australian Gold - Botanical Tinted Face BB cream SPF 50 shade fair to light

First impressions:

I didn’t know how much to use, it’s a heavy whipped cream consistency. I might have used too much but after about 2 minutes of dry down, my skin is matte and non greasy. Leaves a velvet finish, very minimal tinting but that’s how I prefer. Tint seems to be pink undertones but no white cast.

After using for over 3 months:

I can say that I do like this on days where I don’t want a lot of product on my face. Even though this has spf in it, I still will use an spf before applying. I use about a dime size amount or two and apply it like a moisturizer, blending from the center of the face outward. I’ll usually wait a few minutes for it to dry and then I’ll set the whole face with powder. It works well with cream or powder products on top and keeps me matte for 3-4 hours which is normal for me if I’m using a mattifying product. It gives off a your skin but better finish.

Other notes:

I recommended this to my supervisor who is older and she said that it can be drying for mature skin. She mentioned that she had more combination skin and it made her dry patches a lot dryer so I definitely think that this is better suited for oily/normal skin types.
