Lume Whole Body Deodorant

I have the tangerine scent and it is very strong, especially if it’s meant to be an all over body stick. I bought a mini travel size from Target to try out before committing to a full size.

Another thing I don’t love is that it becomes very heavy on skin and can take a bit of effort to wash off.

I am a very sweaty person, always have been. I need something that is going to keep sweat away first and stink away second. The lume stick does a good job of keeping sweat away in the nooks and crannies like under boob, bikini area, butt cheek leg area, pits, you get it. I don’t think this would be good for moderate exercise sweat prevention though as I sweat while doing dishes and this did not help. I don’t wear bras at home so I hike the girls up under my shirt to prevent skin to skin contact and I definitely sweat through my shirt.

Sometimes your lady bits get a stink to them, it happens. I wasn’t really able to tell if the smell was eliminated because I was so overwhelmed by tangerine. If I could have gotten an unscented version in the mini size, I would have, I think that would have given me a better idea of how it performs as far as odor elimination.

I already have a deodorant brand/scent that I’ve been using for probably 10 years or so and I’ve found it hard to commit to anything new. I use Degree Advanced deodorant in the scent of sexy intrigue. I used to use the regular stick version but about a year ago, I started using the spray version and I don’t think I’ll go back. I hated the clumpy, slick feeling that traditional deodorants make on armpits and the spray version is lightweight and easy to wash off in the shower with minimal effort.

With all that being said, this is not a bad product, I just don’t think it’s for me, at least not the tangerine version. I would be interested in trying the unscented version but at $14, I didn’t want to commit to a full size just yet. I have heard that this works great for people with more mature scent profiles (the nicer way of saying we get stinkier as we age).
