La Roche-Posay: Anthelios Mineral Tinted Ultra Light Face Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50

I thought that this was gonna be my new favorite SPF. It had all the call outs I was looking for; high spf, tinted, fluid formula, & easy to dispense packaging.

However, some of these factors are why I returned it. First, the tint was way too dark for my skin tone personally. I’m a fair pink/neutral skin tone and don’t really fake tan much so the tint was a little too orangey. It wasn’t too bad when I really blended it out into my skin but I was a little self conscious that people could tell.

I would have probably kept using it if it wasn’t for the biggest issue: it smelled like gasoline. It’s supposed to be fragrance free but idk what they put in there but you could probably start a fire with it. The scent kinda lingered too, I swore I could smell it on my face throughout the day.

A positive is that it kept my oily skin matte for a few hours longer than usual. Within about 2/3 hours, the oils usually break through any makeup I have and I get pretty shiny. I’ll just use blotting sheets and then I’m good to go.

At $38.99, it’s not exactly affordable and I’m disappointed that the cons outweighed the few pros.
