Benefit Cosmetics: The Brow Authority

When it comes to brow products, Benefit Cosmetics reigns supreme. It’s no easy feat to continually innovate in the brow market, but Benefit has mastered the art of delivering consistent quality, even with each new release. Their expertise in brow products is undeniable, and it’s worth diving into their standout offerings, particularly their brow gels and similar products.

Gimme Brow+ Tinted Volumizing Eyebrow Gel is a cornerstone of their collection. Available in 10 shades ranging from blonde to black, there’s a match for nearly everyone. This product is a reliable go-to for anyone looking for a good brow gel. While brow gel might seem like a mundane part of brow grooming, it’s become increasingly popular with the rise of “clean girl makeup” trends. This tinted gel not only offers great hold but is perfect for lazy brow days when you want to add some volume and color without much effort. The volumizing fibers help fill in sparse areas, giving brows a fuller look. Lately, I’ve been leaning towards clear gels because I enjoy the process of doing my brows. I’ve been trying to use up the NYX Brow Glue, which isn’t my favorite, but I’m sticking with it as part of my project pan to ensure I get my money’s worth.

24-HR Brow Setter Clear Eyebrow Gel with Lamination Effect is another product I’ve tried from Benefit. It’s a thin, clear gel that does its job without much fanfare, it does have great hold though. I didn’t find it particularly special—there are likely more affordable options that perform just as well. However, one unique aspect is the brush, which is entirely plastic, unlike the traditional spoolie wand used in their other brow gels. I have a few sample sizes of this product, and they’re convenient for my needs, though nothing about it stands out as extraordinary.

Fluff Up Flexible Hold Brow Texturizing Wax is one of Benefit’s newer offerings, clearly aiming to keep up with the trend of laminated brows and wax formulas. My experience with it was underwhelming. The wax formula left a slight white cast over my brows and felt a bit sticky, which I didn’t love. Overall, it didn’t leave a lasting impression.

Lastly, Precisely, My Brow Tinted Eyebrow Wax is on my radar, especially if I can find a travel size or sample. With 12 shades to choose from, the range is impressive. However, given my lukewarm feelings towards wax formulas, I’m skeptical about how much I’ll like it. But I’m curious enough to give it a try.
