Beauty Bio's Vitamin C Serum: Effective but Overpriced
As one of the few vitamin C products I’ve tried, I found this one to be both effective and gentle. With semi-consistent use, it noticeably lightened some of my hyperpigmentation. The serum has a light, fluid consistency and is virtually scent-free. I initially received this as a travel-size sample in a gift-with-purchase set.
Beauty Bio is a premium brand that often leans more into marketing and aesthetics rather than focusing on the ingredients themselves. While the ingredients in this serum are effective, the price point is a significant drawback. The Daily Acid-Free Vitamin C serum retails for $75 for just 1 ounce, which is an exorbitant cost per ounce. Though it does deliver results, I have to draw the line when it comes to spending on skincare.
I’ve splurged on pricey products before, but as I’ve become a more conscious spender, I now focus on buying products that offer better value or are available on sale. While I did like this serum, I wouldn’t purchase a full-size version at its current price.
