There was a time when I became obsessed with trying high-end beauty products, thanks to my employee discount at Ulta Beauty. But these days, my focus has shifted to finding quality products at more affordable price points.

I last reviewed this sunscreen in the May 2023 zine, “Spring Into Skincare,” with a quick “4/10, greasy :(“ summary, and that still perfectly captures my experience. While it boasts great ingredients, ideal for anti-aging—which isn’t my current priority—it didn’t suit my oily skin. The formula felt heavy and greasy, and I experienced stinging when it got into my eyes, especially when I’d sweat. Since I sweat easily, it’s crucial that my sunscreen doesn’t irritate my eyes.

I finished the full-sized product back in 2022, but revisiting it through samples only reminded me why I didn’t enjoy it. It reaffirmed my need to stick to sunscreens that actually work with my skin type.
