Juvia's Place Magic Lip Oil - Tangerine
First impression: the scent is not very strong, I would have liked a stronger orange smell. I like my lip products to either A. Smell fruity or B. Smell cocoa-y.
It’s supposed to be a lip oil but it reads more like a thick gloss, with a gel consistency. It’s non-sticky and light weight.
The first few applications have left my lips wanting more hydration and feeling dry. I would rather use my tried and true Palmer’s Swivel Stick, Lime Crime Lip Gloss, or Clarins Lip Oil.
Overall, I’m disappointed. I was hoping that this could be a replacement for my Clarins lip oil which I love so much. The Juvia’s Place oil comes out to $10 while the clarins is almost $30. Unfortunately, I think I’ll be returning this.
We went through a whole lip oil craze as a society, trends come and go but good products are forever. This will not be remembered as such.
